Our SINGS are singing groups and stand alone sessions which meet outdoor, usually around a fire. We sing songs that connect us to the earth, each other and the turning year. They are easy to learn and we share simple harmonies together.

"Standing round the fire, with the darkness behind us and our voices joining together and lifting into the sky, was an unforgettable experience."
There is no shortage of evidence telling us that being outdoors makes us happier.
It tells that singing is good for us too.
huathe SINGS is a chance to do both together and create beautiful sounds at the same time.
Led by Elizabeth Swift, and oringinally called FireChoir when founded in 2015,we use various sites for these events. We usually light a fire at the start and join our voices together in a range of songs specially chosen for their simple, overlaying harmonies and easy memorability. We share a cup of tea when the kettle is hot and then stoke the fire for some more singing.

Anyone is welcome. There are no auditions and we enjoy the qualities of each voice blending with the next.
